Vice Chancellor for Education

Vice chancellor of education supervises all the educational activities of the university. The principal responsibility of vice chancellor for education is to design major strategies in all levels of education. The main academic activities include educational planning, curriculum designing, educational data base gathering, evaluating, score analysis, promoting educational qualities, educational consulting, research in education, clinical qualifying exams. These activities are extended in the educational programs of Medical, Dentistry, Nursing and Midwifery, Paramedical and Health Faculties.

The four managers who supervise different activities of educational affairs are

  • Education Developing Center (EDC)
  • General Administration Office & Postgraduate Education (GAO,PE)
  • Continuous Medical Education (CME)
  • Academic Affair (AA)

Education Developing Center (EDC)

EDC is the powerful and dynamic center of education; the different committees in EDC promote the major education projects. The academic members who are expert in medical education following the details of educational programs, which include theoretical and practical classes, laboratory and education fields, clinical and hospital education.


General Administration Office & Postgraduate Education (GAO,PE)

GAO is controlling the different processes of educational affairs of students in all levels, the process is started from registration to post graduation stage.


Continuous Medical Education (CME)

CME is planning a unit for supplementary medical education in clinic for the staffs in health and medical fields.


Academic Affair (AA)

Academic affair are evaluating the different activities of faculty members. The educational academic data banks of faculty members are being gathered annually.
