About Us
In order to meet the educational objectives of the university, the department of ENT as a minor clinical department of KAUMS provides theoretical, practical and clinical education to the medical students in their extern-ship and intern-ship rotations. It also deals with diseases in ear, nose, throat and head and neck region, diseases in the base of the skull and tumors (benign and malignant) in head and neck region being treated by ENT surgeons. The department also works to improve the quality of educational services, health care and research.
Mission
The ENT department is dedicated to excellence in the care of disorders that affect the eye, ear, nose, throat, and adjacent regions of the head and neck. It tries to provide primary care and serve outpatient and inpatient medical and surgical care. In conjunction with Matini Hospital, it is committed to the education of future health care professionals. Moreover, it will continue to provide exceptional talent in the areas of clinical practice and research a priority. As leaders in our specialty, we have to provide the most up-to-date and innovative treatments ensuring the best outcomes for our patients. Timely access, timely treatment, and a patient-focused experience are fundamental to our cause.
Vision
Through high-quality research, we will be able to deliver world-class medical care while simultaneously creating an environment where trainees can learn the most advanced methods and ideas in otolaryngology. Our department aims to be recognized, nationally and internationally, as respected and utilized leaders in our field, while maintaining and expanding our integral and vital services to the local community.
