Neurology Department
About Us
The department tries to provide cutting edge neuroscience-related care to patients and society, to educate residents and medical students. It also trains internal medicine residents in their general part of specialty training. It has more than 5 faculty members with different subspecialties. The group is dedicated to teach the art of compassionate care with the science of evidence-based treatment. Moreover, transferring knowledge and experience in the field of neurological diseases and providing highly skilled and qualified physicians are the most important goals of group.
Missions
Our department is committed:
- to provide outstanding patient-centered care to persons with neurological disorders and their families and caretakers
- to shed new light on brain and nerve diseases and develop novel treatments through basic, clinical and translational research
- to teach the art and science of neurological care to the next generation of physicians and other health professionals
Vision
This department will achieve excellence in its missions of clinical service, teaching and research by promoting a climate of teamwork, collaboration and collegiality among faculty neurologists, neuropsychologists, scientists, staff and interdisciplinary colleagues.
