Oral and maxillofacial surgery specializes in treating many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region. The group is consisted of two boardmen in charge of two theoretical and four clinical courses.

Periodontology or periodontics is the specialty of dentistry that studies supporting structures of teeth, as well as diseases and conditions that affect them. The group with three boardmen is in charge of three theoretical and four clinical courses teaching periodontium related matters.

-Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, Medicine and Radiology

Oral and maxillofacial pathology refers to the diseases of the mouth, jaws and related structures such as salivary glands, temporomandibular joints, facial muscles and perioral skin. The group is in charge of two practical courses of diagnosing the pathological diseases.

Oral and maxillofacial radiology, also known as dental and maxillofacial radiology, is that specialty of dentistry concerned with performance and interpretation of diagnostic imaging used for examining the craniofacial, dental and adjacent structures. The two boardmen of the group are in charge of two theoretical and three clinical courses teaching the radiographic imaging in dentistry.

- Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry

Prosthodonticsis the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of the oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth or oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes. The group is consisted of four boardmen in charge of three subgroups of complete and partial removable prosthesis and fixed prosthesis. Each subgroup has a preclinical course and two clinical course. Also two theoretical courses are taught in this group.

Restorative dentistry is the study, diagnosis and integrated management of diseases of the teeth and their supporting structures and the rehabilitation of the dentition to functional and aesthetic requirements of the individual. The three boardmen of the group are in charge of a preclinical course followed by three clinical courses. They also teach three theoretical restorative courses.

-Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics

Pediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dealing with children from birth through adolescence. The four party group of the boardmen are in charge of two theoretical and three clinical courses teaching the treatment of oral treatments of children.

Orthodonticsis a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws. The group consists of two boardmen in charge of three theoretical and four clinical courses. During the courses students learn diagnosis and treatment planning along with appliance therapy.
