KAUMS receives applications from two groups of applicants: Residents of IRAN (Resident means Iranian passport holders) and International applicants' residents of other countries. Admissions guidelines and fees are slightly different for domestic and international applicants.

- Domestic Applicants need to pass the National Entrance Examination if they want to start a bachelor, Master and Ph.D. program as well as Medicine Science.

- All International Applicants are welcome to apply. Prospective students must to submit required documents online. So, KAUMS will ignore the documents which are sent by mail. In addition, applying is free, and open all year round. Whether applicant is applying, the admission process will be quick and uncomplicated and documents will be reviewed as soon as it is submitted. After submission, application will be assessed, selected and ranked by the related departments and applicant will be informed about the result through an email.

 


Tuition & Fees


 

Tuition for graduate students at the KAUMS is based on the type of program, courses, thesis and whether students are registered full-time or part-time. For students required to pay tuition fee, it is helpful to read all instructions and meet the deadlines indicated. All details regarding programs and tuition fees for programs at KAUMS are listed below.

All the following expenses are valid only for the Academic Year 2020-2021. Please note that all expenses including the tuition fee are to pay in its entirety at the beginning of each academic year.

In addition to the living expenses pointed out in the above table (table of expenses) students should be aware that other life expenses (including items of clothing, books, stationeries, transportation, etc.) for each student is approximately between 200$ to 300$ per month, depending on student's life expenses.

* Short-term study program

Refers to short-term, non-degree programs of any period from a few weeks to a full school year, but which does not lead to a degree. Short-term students are generally considered no regular students.

These short-term, non-degree programs provided in English that are taught by top-class professors and are available to highly motivated students from all over the world. Some of these programs are restricted to students enrolled at partner universities or those that belong, while others may be limited to undergraduates or postgraduates only. 

* Language used in the class

Some programs consist of classes conducted in Persion only while others offer classes in English only or in both Persian and English.

* Program formats

There are various formats, depending on the university, such as special classes exclusively for short-term international students or those accepting international student enrolled in general departmental courses.

Tuition and Fees Refund Policy

Students who may decide to withdraw permanently from studies at any point in the academic year will be liable to pay all the fees (including the tuition fee, accommodation fee, registration fee, etc.). 

 Note 3

Tuition and fees will be increased by more than 10 percent every year for inflation, according to regulation of University Board of Trustees.

The above tables feature annual tuition fees, registration, language courses, living expenses, etc. for the academic year 2020-2021. Applicants should be aware that withdrawing from studies at any point of the studies at KAUMS can cost them the whole annual tuition fee as well as relevant fines (such as accommodation, utilities, internet, health insurance, and registration fees) according to the University regulations.
