Anatomical Sciences Research Center
Introduction
Conducting basic and applied medical research is one of the essential goals of health in the University of Medical Sciences. Progress in this field will be made with the collective effort and serious support of the relevant ministry officials, universities and research centers. Obviously, the cost and attention in this part will help in improving the treatment methods and will bring important results to the country's medical science centers. Anatomical Sciences Research Center of Kashan University of Medical Sciences is under the research and technology vice-president of this university. In order to expand basic-applied researches and provide solutions in health-therapeutic matters in the Basic Science Research Center in 02-03-2009, it was approved in principle by the Council for the Development of Medical Sciences Universities of the Ministry of Health. The founders of this center decided to establish this center in view of the need for an area to conduct applied research and exchange opinions in the field of molecular and clinical research.
Vision
The Anatomical Sciences Research Center of Kashan University of Medical Sciences aims to achieve a favorable position among the 1405 equivalent centers by taking into account the Islamic-Iranian values and the macro policies of the country and taking advantage of internal and external capabilities. This center intends to always stabilize its position through the necessary researches and taking advantage of the existing potentials, in line with the macro policies of the university and the relevant ministry, as well as the vision of the comprehensive scientific map of the country. Also, this center will take steps in the production of knowledge and national wealth based on moral principles, values and Islamic rules.
Mission
In line with the realization of the 20-year vision document of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the comprehensive map of the country's health and scientific system, and relying on international and up-to-date knowledge, the skill and efficiency of its expert professors and experts, it responds to the health problems and needs of the society. In addition to connecting with domestic and foreign research centers and attracting sufficient credits, nurturing and training expert researchers and setting up suitable laboratory diagnosis methods are among the duties of this center. This center, with awareness, knowledge and research in the field of research, will try to take steps in the direction of human health with teamwork and creating a great motivation for scientific and research activities.
Research priorities
1- Knowing the cellular and molecular mechanisms involved in neuroinflammation and investigating the effect of neurosteroids in controlling inflammation
2- Examining the inflammatory pathways in cancer and the antioxidant role of natural compounds (plants, probiotics, supplements)
3- Investigation of inflammatory mechanisms in infectious diseases and the effect of different medicinal compounds
4- Scientific strengthening of students by improving anatomy education systems
5- Commercialization of the results obtained from the center's applied research
Research lines
