A meeting between the University Director of International Affairs and the Vice chancellor of Education and the General Education Office aimed at reviewing the educational status of international students and addressing existing challenges
According to the report of Public Relations department of International Affairs, a meeting between the University's General Education office and International Affairs office was held on Wednesday, April 09, 2025, in the office of the Director of Education and Postgraduate Education Affairs. The meeting was attended by Dr. Masoud Motallebi, Director of university’s Education and Postgraduate Education Affairs; Dr. Zahra Karimian, director of International Affairs; Eng. Mohsen Farhadpour, Deputy Director of Education Affairs; and other relevant experts.
The purpose of this meeting was to review the situation of international students, establish a unified approach, create a platform for ensuring compliance with educational laws and regulations related to these students, and address existing challenges. During the meeting, topics such as educational regulations, the admission process, and the identification of international students were discussed and reviewed. Following the meeting, a summary of the discussions was presented by Dr. Zahra Karimian, in the presence of Dr. Seyed Mehdi Rasoulimanesh, in the office of the University's Vice Chancellery for Education.
In the end, the Vice chancellor for Education of the university emphasized the importance of developing the university's internationalization across various dimensions (education, research, and health tourism) and provided explanations about the educational conditions of non-Iranian students at the university, as well as a vision for the continuous improvement of these conditions
